Pulsatilla vulgaris, the pasqueflower, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the buttercup family, found locally on calcareous grassland in Europe, and widely cultivated in gardens. It was considered part of the genus Anemone, to which it is closely related.
Pasque flower is a good addition to the rock garden. Grow pasque flower in well-drained soil in full sun. It does not tolerate root disturbance well, but can be transplanted. Cut back all of the open flowers and large buds before moving; the plant should produce new growth and become lush and rebloom in about 4 weeks.
You'll receive 4 plugs with at least the first set of true leaves, hardened and ready to plant.
Upon delivery your plant babies will be tired after traveling so water thoroughly and keep in a shaded area for a day or two before planting out.
